dual boot system A system that has two OS (operating systems). For example, Windows 95
and Windows NT.
hard disk A storage-media disk fixed permanently within a drive unit and used for
storing computer data.
partition A logical section of your hard disk. One physical hard disk may be
partitioned into two or more logical hard drives.
