WITHOUT OIL
ENGINE OIL
Do not overfill the engine with oil.
INITIAL USE INSTRUCTIONS

The generator is shipped in the engine.
Place the generator on a level surface.
Pull the knob and remove the oil maintenance cover.
Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and add enough SAE 10W-30 API
service category SJ or later (or equivalent) oil to bring the oil level to
the upper limit of the oil filler neck. SAE 10W-30 oil is recommended
for general use; for additional recommendations, see page
.
Screw in the oil filler cap/dipstick securely.
Reinstall the oil maintenance cover.
If the engine is overfilled, the
excess oil may be transferred to the air cleaner case and air filter.
