HOLD SWITCH
The HOLD switch locks all of the other controls buttons. If you are
carrying the player in a backpack, handbag, gym bag, etc, set the
HOLD switch to the ‘On’ position to prevent it from turning ‘On’
accidentally by something pressing against the PLAY/PAUSE
button. Likewise, once you start listening to the player you can set
the HOLD switch to the ‘On’ position to prevent you from accidentally
pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button again or the or buttons while
you are carrying or jogging with the player. Remember that to use any
of the other controls the HOLD switch must be set to the ‘Off’ position.
The Hold icon will show in the display when the HOLD switch is in
the ‘On” position.
