These fully manual lenses E-mounts have no electronic contacts. There is no exchange of data be-
tween the camera and lens.
X MKX18-55mmT2.9/MKX50-135mmT2.9
These fully manual lenses X-mounts are equipped with electronic contacts. Data can be exchanged
between the camera and lens.
Q The lens may not perform as expected and some features may not be available with older versions
of the camera fi rmware. Be sure to update the camera fi rmware to the latest version. Instructions on
viewing the camera fi rmware version and updating camera fi rmware are available from the following
