and the maximum playback speed of CD audio and CD ROM is set to 40x. The
PureRead function is turned on as a default setting. This function can be configured
using the supported Pioneer BD Drive Utility.

Dual Disc playback

The Dual Disc format can record DVD-standard video and audio on one side,
and audio that can be played by a CD player on the other.
— When inserting a Dual Disc into a playback device or removing it from the
device, the surface opposite to the playback side may be scratched. Problems
may occur when playing the scratched side.
