Save These Instructions
• This appliance is intended for
household use only. Do not use
outdoors and on wet surfaces.
• Check whether your power supply
conforms with the voltage indicated on
the technical information label before
plugging in your appliance.
• Use this appliance only as described in
this manual. Use only manufacturer’s
recommended attachments.
• This appliance is provided with
double insulation. Use only identical
replacement parts. See instructions
for Servicing of Double-Insulated
Appliances.
• This appliance does not need to be
grounded, it can be used safely on every
outlet.
• Always check whether the appliance
or power cord is damaged before
operating your appliance. If there is any
damage, do not operate your appliance
and contact the nearest Authorized
Service Provider.
• Do not leave the appliance plugged
in when it is not in use. Turn your
appliance off before unplugging it. Do
not pull the cord to unplug the unit as
this can result in damage to the outlet
and the plug.
• Your appliance is equipped with a cord
rewinding mechanism. Do not forcefully
push in the cord, do not operate this
mechanism when it is not necessary
and do not allow children to play with
it. Hold the plug when rewinding onto
cord reel. Keep the plug from rewinding
forcefully and uncontrollably by firmly
holding on to it while rewinding.
• Do not move your appliance by pulling
its power cord. Ensure that the power
cord is not trapped by a door or other
objects and kept away from sharp
edges and hot surfaces.
• The power cord should be monitored
regularly. An appliance with a damaged
power cord should not be used. If the
power cord is damaged, it should be
replaced with a specially prepared
cord or cord set procured from the
manufacturer or authorized service
provider. This operation should always
be performed by an authorized service
provider.
• Do not allow the device to be used as a
toy. Close attention is necessary when
used by or near children.
• Do not handle plug or appliance with
wet hands.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do
not use with any opening blocked; keep
free of dust, lint, and anything that may
reduce air flow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and
all parts of body away from opening and
moving parts.
• Use extra care when cleaning on
stairs.
• Do not vacuum any burning or smoking
objects such as cigarettes, matchsticks,
embers or hot ashes. Do not use your
appliance to clean up flammable or
combustible liquids such as fuel or use
it anywhere where these materials may
be present.
• Never use your appliance to clean out a
fireplace, flue or the inside of any duct
not limited to those as oil, soot, ceramic
powder, lime, plaster, sheetrock dust,
etc.
• Never use your appliance to clean up
volatile or toxic substances or anywhere
near these substances.
• Always check whether the separator on
the motor of your appliance is installed
correctly in its place after being
cleaned. Never operate your appliance
without the separator, water or pollen
filter.
• Your appliance is equipped with a motor
protection thermal switch that prevents
overheating and damage of the Power
Nozzle motor. This function stops and
protects the motor when an object gets
caught in the Power Nozzle brush, the
brush is excessively dirty or strained.
Do not worry if the appliance suddenly
stops; unplug the appliance and remove
the objects straining the motor and
continue using your appliance.
• Do not use the Power Nozzle on wet
surfaces and cleaning up water or other
liquids. Only use it for cleaning up dry
surfaces and objects.
• Always turn off the appliance before
connecting or disconnecting either
hose or power nozzle.
• Always unplug your appliance before
cleaning or performing maintenance
on it. Turn off all controls before
unplugging.
• The hose contains electrical wires.
Do not use when damaged, cut, or
punctured. Avoid picking up sharp
objects. Do not allow your vacuum hose
to come in contact with water as there
is a live current running through it.
• The appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
• Do not attempt to repair your appliance
in case of a functional disorder or if any
adverse condition is suspected. Contact
an Authorized Service Provider for
assistance.
