1 Open the file in the vi editor. Type
vi inittab.con
2 Copy inittab.con file to the inittab file. Type
cp –f inittab.con inittab
3 Save the file and reboot the module.
To disable the console:
1 Copy inittab.nocon file to the inittab file.
2 Save the file and reboot the module.
