Pour in the water using the funnel provided, slowly at first, to avoid splashing.
•
After unplugging the appliance from the mains, wait at least 3 minutes
•
before adding water to the boiler tank;
Tighten the safety cap (I).
•
Plug the appliance back into the mains.
•
Switch on the appliance; the red light will switch on.
•
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Removing scale residues
IMPORTANT: Clean the boiler tank at least once every month so as to
remove any scale residues which might affect the normal operation of
the appliance.
IMPORTANT: Switch off the appliance, unplug it from the mains power
and leave it to cool before cleaning out the boiler tank, so as to avoid
the risk of scalds.
Discharge any remaining pressure from the boiler tank, by holding down the steam dispens-
•
ing button (A) on the gun (C). Direct the steam jet into a special container.
Slowly loosen the safety cap (I) then remove it completely.

Slowly pour water into the boiler tank to avoid splashes. Shake the appliance and turn it
•
upside down to empty it. Repeat this step several times.
WARNING: Never add scale removers, vinegar or other perfumed sub-
stances to the tank, as these risk damaging the appliance with immedi-
ate cancellation of the warranty.
Cleaning the appliance
Make sure that the appliance is off (red light off) and unplug it before cleaning.
IMPORTANT: Do not use detergents or thinners.
1. Block the lock cursor (B) in place with the steam button and leave the appliance to cool
completely (approx. 2 hours).
2. If necessary, wipe the appliance clean with a damp cloth.
3. If necessary, clean the steam nozzle of the gun (D) with a needle.
