8. Hold fruit, biscuits or other food into the
liquid chocolate. Ideally, use the sup-
plied forks15 or your own spikes or
forks.
9. Once you are finished, set the function
switch10 to 0, in order to switch off the
device.
10.Wait 2 - 3 minutes until the bowl12
has cooled down, but the remaining
chocolate is still fluid.
Then start with the cleaning, as this is
significantly easier while the chocolate
is still fluid.
8. Cleaning
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
• Pull the mains plug6 out of the wall
socket before you clean the device.
• Do not immerse the base station11, the
power cable or the mains plug6 in wa-
ter or any other liquid.
WARNING! Risk of injury through
burning!
Allow the device to cool down before clean-
ing.
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
• Melted chocolate must not be poured
down a toilet or sink. It immediately
hardens there and leads to blockages.
• Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
• Clean all surfaces and the power ca-
ble6 with a slightly moistened cloth.
Dishwasher
• Put the cascade element1, the screw
conveyor3 and the basin8 /9 into
the dish washer.
Cleaning by hand
• Wash the forks15 by hand with deter-
gent.
1. Wipe the remaining chocolate out of
the bowl12 with kitchen paper.
2. Add hot water and some detergent into
the bowl12.
3. Clean the bowl12 with a sponge or a
brush.
4. Drain the water.
5. Repeat the cleaning process, if the bowl
is not properly clean.
6. Add clear water to the bowl12 and re-
move any soap residue. Drain the wa-
ter.
7. Dry the bowl12 thoroughly before stor-
ing away.
9. Storage

Keep the device out of the reach of
children.
• Select a location where neither high
temperatures nor moisture can affect the
device.
10. Disposal
The symbol showing a wheel-
ie bin crossed through indi-
cates that the product
requires separate refuse col-
lection in the European Un-
ion. This applies to the
product and all accessories marked with this
symbol. Products identified with this symbol
may not be discarded with normal house-
hold waste, but must be taken to a collection
point for recycling electric and electronic ap-
pliances. Recycling helps to reduce the con-
sumption of raw materials and protect the
environment.
