6. How to use
6.1 First steps
• Remove all packing material.
• Check to ensure that all parts are pre-
sent and undamaged.
• Clean all parts which come into contact
with food (see “Cleaning” on page 7).
6.2 Assembly
1. Place the base station11 on a dry, lev-
el, non-slip surface. The work surface
should be easy to clean.
NOTE: if the base station11 is tilted, adjust
it by turning the adjusting screws on the
feet7 to make it stand level.
2. Place the basin parts8 /9 for the fruit
around the base station11. The power
cable6 must be lead through the open-
ing14 of the basin part8. Connect the
basin parts by pressing the ends of the
basin8 onto the ends of the other ba-
sin9.
3. Stick the screw conveyor3 with the suit-
able opening facing downwards onto
the axis4.
4. Position the cascade element1 in the
bowl12 in a way that the openings on
the feet2 fit onto the three pins13.
5. Insert the mains plug6 into a wall sock-
et corresponding to the specifications of
the rating plate.
7. Operation
WARNING
• Ensure that no solid elements (e.g. fruit,
hard chocolate) block the screw convey-
or3. If this does occur, immediately
switch off the device, as the motor may
be damaged.
NOTES:
• Melt the chocolate before adding it to
the chocolate fountain. Melting it in the
fountain takes too long.
• The maximum filling volume is 450 ml.
1. Heat the pure chocolate. For one batch
approx. 450 g.
This is ideally done in a water bath or in
the microwave. When heating in a nor-
mal pan, ensure that you are only work-
ing at low temperatures to prevent the
chocolate from burning.
2. In the case that the melted chocolate
does not seem fluid enough, add vege-
table oil until the desired consistency
has been achieved and mix thoroughly.
3. Check whether the chocolate has melt-
ed completely. No solid parts must re-
main.
4. Turn the function switch10 on the de-
vice to . The control lamp5 lights up.
The bowl12 is now being heated to
keep the chocolate fluid after pouring it
in. Wait approx. 2-3 minutes before
pouring in the chocolate.
5. Place the food items you want to cover
in chocolate into the basin8 /9.
6. Pour the chocolate into the bowl12. If
necessary, use a rubber spatula.
7. Turn the function switch10 on the de-
vice to . The screw conveyor3 starts
to turn and conveys the chocolate up-
wards. There, it runs over the tip and
then over the cascade1 back down
into the bowl12.
