Danger to life by electric shock

Electrical installation must be performed by a
qualified electrician or a person authorised to
perform electrical installations.

Every time before connecting the lamp the mains,
check it and the mains lead for damage. Never
use your light if you find it is damaged in any way.

Before installation, remove the fuse for this
circuit or switch off at the circuit breaker
(0 setting) in the fuse box.

Make sure before installing the light that the
mains voltage at the place of installation complies
with the operating voltage of the light
(230 V ~) and that the wire cross-section of the

supply cable is at least 1 mm

. Do not install

the light if this is not the case.

Never open or insert anything into electrical
fittings or equipment. Doing this sort of thing can
lead to a serious danger to life from electric shock.

Make sure that you do not hit
electrical cables, gas or water pipes when you
drill into the wall / ceiling. You may have to
check with a cable locator before drilling into
a wall / ceiling.

CaUTION! rISK OF BUrNS! Make sure that
the light is switched off and has cooled down
for at least 10 min. before you touch it. Lamps
can become very hot.

Correct procedure

Before wall / ceiling mounting, check that the
wall or ceiling in question is suitable for bearing
the weight of the lamp. You may have to consult
an expert.

Before wall / ceiling installation, find out what
the most suitable installation material for your
wall / ceiling is.

J

We have included assembly material for wall
or ceiling mounting suitable for the usual firm
masonry.
