8. Screw the bulbs 5 clockwise into the sockets
6 and check that the bulbs 5 are correctly
seated.
Note: Use a clean fluff-free cloth when you
are inserting the bulbs

9. Place the glass dome 4 back on to the light
body 1 by rotating it clockwise on to the light
body 1 .
Q Wall mounting
Note: you will need an electric drill to install the light.
m CaUTION! rISK OF INJUrY! Please read
the operating instructions for your drill.
1. Turn the glass dome 4 off the light body 1
rotating it anticlockwise.
2. Hold the light body 1 on to the wall and mark
the positions where the mounting holes are to
be drilled.
m CaUTION! Make sure that you do not damage
the cables in the wall.
3. Now drill the mounting holes.
4. Insert the dowels
9 into the drilled holes. If
necessary use a hammer to make this easier.
5. Push the mains connecting cable through the
hole in the light body 1 and fix the lamp with
the screws with washers 3 into the dowels 9 .
6. Now connect the mains connection cable to
the terminal block 2 .
Note: Ensure that each wire of the mains
connection cable is correctly connected:
Live wire, black / brown = symbol L,
Neutral wire, blue = symbol N,
Protective earth wire, green-yellow = symbol .
7. When you mount the light to the wall, make
sure that the arrow on the information sticker
points upwards. The drainage hole
7 points
down vertically.
8. Ensure that the plastic cover 8 has been
removed from the drainage hole 7 .
9. Screw the bulbs 5 clockwise into the sockets
6 and check that the bulbs 5 are correctly
seated.
Note: Use a clean fluff-free cloth when you
are inserting the bulbs

10. Place the glass dome 4 back on to the light
body 1 by rotating it clockwise on to the light
body 1 .
Q Maintenance and cleaning
WarNINg! DaNgEr TO LIFE BY ELEC-
TrIC SHOCK! Before carrying out any work on
the light, switch the electricity supply off at the fuse
box or remove the screw-in fuses from the fuse box.
WarNINg! DaNgEr TO LIFE BY ELEC-
TrIC SHOCK! For electrical safety the light must
never be cleaned with water or other liquids, or
immersed in water.
Q replacing a bulb
CaUTION! rISK OF BUrNS! Switch the
light off. Allow the light to cool down completely
(at least 10 minutes).
Note: Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you are
replacing a bulb

j Always use 230 V ~ energy-saving lamps with
E 14 fittings and a maximum rated output of
9 watts.
j Remove the glass dome 4 as described in
the section on “Installation”.
j Remove the defective bulb 5 by turning it
anticlockwise and drawing it out of the socket 6 .
j Insert a new bulb 5 into the socket 6 and turn it
clockwise. Check that the bulb is correctly seated.
j Place the glass dome 4 back on to the light
body 1 as described in the section on
“Installation”.
Q Cleaning
CaUTION! rISK OF BUrNS! Switch the
light off. Allow the light to cool down completely
(at least 10 minutes).
j Use a dry fluff-free cloth when you are cleaning.
j Do not use solvents, petrol etc.
