Safety notes / Before Initial Use / Assembly and Initial Use
before you connect the device. If you are not
sure, please contact a specialist electrician.
J Position the device in such a way that the con-
nection plug
3 the mains adapter 13 and the
adapter plug 14 cannot be flooded with water.
All electrical connections and installations must
be located in areas which are protected against
flooding.
J Make sure that the adapter 13 is protected from
water splashes.
J Only carry out work on the device when the
adapter
13 has been disconnected from the
mains current.
J Please ensure that the rubber seal 12 is correctly
and tightly fitted in place before you fill the glass
sphere
1 with water.
m CAUtION! DANGEr OF FLOODING!
Under no circumstances should you pull on the
mains lead
2 if the glass sphere 1 is filled
with water. Otherwise the rubber seal 12 may
slip out and the water leak out of the glass
sphere
1 .
m CAUtION! An uneven surface may result in
the tabletop mister falling over when it is filled
with water. Injuries and / or damage to the
product may be the result.
m CAUtION! DANGEr OF INJUrY! You
should never attempt to change the location of
the tabletop mister if it is filled with water. Oth-
erwise the result may be injuries or damage to
property.
m CAUtION! DANGEr OF INJUrY! You
should never attempt to change the location of
the tabletop mister if the mains adapter
13 is
connected to a socket and the device is
switched on. Otherwise the result may be inju-
ries or damage to property.
m CAUtION! DANGEr OF INJUrY! Do not
put your hand close to the ceramic disc 16 if
the mist generator 8 is switched on. Ultrasonic
vibrations may give rise to pains. Keep a
distance of at least 10 cm away from the mist
generator
8 .
J CAUtION! LED rADIAtION! Avoid dam-
age to your eyes! Do not look into the LED
beam. Never use optical equipment such as
magnifying glasses or similar items in order to
look into the LED beams. Protect yourself and
your environment by taking appropriate pre-
cautionary measures.
J Never point the LED beams at reflecting surfac-
es, individuals or animals. The consequences
might otherwise be blindness or irritation of the
eyes. Even weak LED beams may result in eye
damage.
J The LEDs have a very long life and cannot be
replaced.
J Disconnect the device from the mains before
you clean it or fill it with water.
J Fill the glass sphere 1 up to the Max. mark 11
only.
Q Before Initial Use
j Please select an appropriate location to set up
the tabletop mister.
j Please ensure that the surfaces solid, flat and
level.
m CAUtION! An uneven surface may result in
the tabletop mister falling over when it is filled
with water. Injuries and / or damage to the
product may be the result.
m CAUtION! The tabletop mister generates a
fine spray of water. Please ensure that the lamp
is positioned in a location which is able to resist
moisture. Otherwise the result may be damage
to property.
Q Assembly and Initial Use
Q Assembly
j Place the glass sphere 1 on the glass sphere
stand 4 near a socket (230 – 240 V ~, 50 Hz).
j Guide the connection plug 3 and the mains
lead 2 through the small hole in the glass
sphere 1 . Then close the hole with the rubber
seal 12 and allow the mist generator 8 to
remain hanging outside the glass sphere 1 .
If necessary, pull gently on the mains lead.
Note: You can moisten the rubber seal
12 so
that it slides more easily into the hole.
