Mounting and setting the parallel guide (Fig. C)
The parallel guide is intended as an aid in routing small pieces.
Assembling the parallel guide.
Attach the rods of the parallel guide (18) to the frame (14) using the bolts (19).
Loosen the clamp screws (4) and insert the rods in the fittings (5).
Set the parallel guide to the desired distance.
Retighten the screws.
7.3
Mounting the stencil holder (Fig. D)
The stencil holder is intended as an aid in routing accordance to a pattern.
Mount the stencil holder (15) with the screws (17) and nut (20) to the router base (3).
7.4
Mounting the dust suction device (Fig. E)
Using the adapter for removing dust and pieces from routing.
Mount the adapter for the dust suction (16) by means of the screws (17) and nut (20) to
the router base (3).
Place the nozzle of the dust suction in the adapter outlet.
For a clear view of the workpiece keep the adapter outlet behind the tool.
8 OPERATION
Always follow the safety instructions and observe the rules.
Hold the tool steady on the workpiece when turning the tool on or off. The router bit in the bit
holder can damage the workpiece.
Hold the workpiece firmly or otherwise ensure that it does not slip under the machine
during use.
Hold the machine firmly and move it evenly over the workpiece. Do not force the machine.
Always use bits that as yet show no signs of wear. Worn bits impair the efficiency of the
machine.
When you are finished using the machine always switch if off before you remove the plug
from the socket.
8.1
Depth stop (Fig. F): 2 Possible settings
8.1.1
Using the graduated scale
Remove the clamp screw from the depth stop (9).
Remove the blocking handle (11) and lower the tool to the workpiece.
Attach and tighten the blocking handle again.
Set the desired depth (10) using the graduated scale (12).
Screw the clamp screw back on.
8.1.2
By means of the revolver depth stop
This device enables you quickly to select 2 depths.
This is done with the 3 adjustable screws located on the depth stop.
8.2
Starting and stopping
To start press the on/off switch (I).
Set the speed using the speed adjustment wheel (13).
To hold still set the same switch to ‘0’.
