Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure;
To reduce the fire hazard, keep the engine, silencer, battery compartment and petrol
storage area free of grass, leaves, or excessive grease;
Check the grass catcher frequently for wear or deterioration;
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety;

ASSEMBLY
6.1
Folding handle (Fig 1)
IMPORTANT: Unfold handle carefully so as not to pinch or damage control cables.
Raise handles until lower handle section locks into place in mowing position. Tighten all
bolts.
Remove protective padding, raise upper handle section into place on lower handle and
tighten both handle knobs.
Remove handle padding holding operator presence control bar to upper handle.

The sensitivity of clutch lies on tightness-scale of nut. (Fig 3)
Push primer bulb three times before starting the engine (Fig 4)
NOTE: In cooler weather it may be necessary to repeat priming.
6.2
Mounting the grass catch bag (Fig 5)
13 Take the grass box and metal bracket out of the packing
14 Put the metal bracket into the grass box, keep the handle outside.
15 Fix the plastic jacket in the metal bracket.
Picture :
To fit: Raise the rear cover and hitch the grass catch on rear of mower.
To remove: grasp and lift the rear cover, remove grass catch.

Starter handle (Fig 6)
Move the starter handle from the engine to the rope guide.

OPERATION
7.1
Before starting
This lawn mower is shipped WITHOUT OIL OR GASOLINE in the engine
Service the engine with gasoline and oil as instructed in the separate engine manual packed in
your mower.
Read instructions carefully.
7.2
Fill oil
Before use fill with 600ml SAE30 engine oil. (procedure : see maintenance)
7.3
Add gasoline (Fig7)
WARNING: never fill fuel tank indoors, with engine running or until the
engine has been allowed to cool for at least 15 minutes after running.
Fill fuel tank to base of tank filler neck. Use fresh, clean, regular unleaded gasoline.
Do not overfill.
