Connecting the guide track

The guide track

21

is used to make straight cuts.

To connect 2 guide tracks, slide the fastener

23

into the notch of the guide tracks. Tighten the set
screw

22

with the included hex key.

4

22

23

Note: guide tracks

21

feature a chipping guard

(black rubber lip). The chipping guard must be ad-
justed before making the first cut. Place the guide
track on a work piece. Set to a cutting depth of ap-
prox. 10 mm. Switch on the plunge saw and steadily
guide it in the direction of the cut, pushing slightly.

Eccentric screws

10

The eccentric screws

10

are intended for adjusting the

accuracy of fit of the saw table

9

to the fence

21

.

Tighten the eccentric screws

10

to minimize the

clearance between the plunge saw and the
fence

21

.

Cutting (without guide track)

Perpendicular cuts

Hold the tool by the handles

3

and

15

with

both hands.

Switch on the device as described under “Swit-
ching on and off“.

Start the tool down on the work piece at the
front of the saw stand

9

.

Move the motor downward and cut, applying

steady forward pressure, never backwards.

Mitre cuts to 45 °

Set the cutting angle and cut line as specified.

Hold the tool by the handles

3

and

15

with

both hands.

Switch on the device as described under “Swit-
ching on and off“. Start the tool down on the
work piece at the front of the saw stand

9

.

Move the motor downward and cut, applying

steady forward pressure, never backwards.

Plunge cuts

When “plunge cutting“ at angles other than a

right angle, secure the base plate of the saw
from sliding sideways. Lateral movement can
cause the saw blade to jam, hence kickback.

Set the desired plunge depth as specified above.

Start the tool down on the work piece.

Prevent kickback and place the back edge

against a stopper (similar to Figure D referenced
in section “Plunge saws with fence“).

Switch on the device as described under “Swit-
ching on and off“.

Hold the tool by the handles,

3

and

15

, with

both hands and swivel it.

Note: The cutting width marker

16

on the side of

the guard indicates the front and back cutting points
of a 165 mm saw blade at maximum cutting depth.
This applies to plunge cuts with fence

21

as well as

plunge cuts without fence

21

.
