Installing options
The following options are available to extend the performance
of your B4400, B4500 or B4600 printer:
• 10/100 BASE-TX Network Interface Card: to make non-
network models network compatible
• 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB RAM DIMM: to extend the
main memory of your printer and speed up the
processing of large files
• RS232 Board: to provide serial interface capability to the
B4600. (Note: cannot be used with the Network
Interface card.
• Multi-purpose Feeder tray: to give your printer the ability
to handle multiple envelopes and specialty papers.
• Second paper tray: to increase your printer’s paper
handling capacity by 500 sheets
• PostScript 3 emulation DIMM: to add PostScript
emulation to the B4600.

installation sheet that accompanies the option.
