Select the radio button within the New Project dialog box to choose the software that will use the generated tag file.
Select “Logix Designer/RSLogix 5000” for EtherNet/IP or DeviceNet protocols.
Select “TIA Portal” for PROFINET or PROFIBUS protocols.

Type a project name in the “Project Name” textbox.

Click the “New Project” button.
