Allow reingest: when a file is ingested and the related Asset (based on external reference)
already exists, the file will be ingested if this option is activated.
If this option is not activated, the file will not be ingested.
Allow update Assettype: when a file is ingested and the related Asset (based on external
reference) already exists but as a different Asset Type than the folder Asset Type, the file
can be ingested as the folder Asset Type if this option is activated. The Asset Type is
updated to the Folder’s Asset Type.
If this option is not activated, the file will not be ingested.
The
imported directory contains files for all Assets that have been ingested. Note that the
Create imported file option should be activated in TX/MAM for the folder to enable this
functionality.
When a file is ingested, a file is created in the imported directory with a name that contains
the Asset’s external reference, size, time and date of ingest if this option I activated. When
this option is not activated, the imported file is not created. By default, these ‘imported’ files
are deleted after 48 hours.
Asset type: Assets are automatically added to the Asset Type specified here.
