Selecting Aux Sources
Acappella can be used to route auxiliary sources from outputs 3 and 4. You can manually select the Destination
(output) button you wish to change on the Acappella panel, then select Source 1-8 to send it to the output.

You may also change aux sources by selecting aux button 1 or 2 on the Indigo control panel (in Hi-Res mode) and
then the desired source’s ME button.

Eliminating Freeze Frames
When switching between asynchronous sources, you may see as many as 3 frames (one twentieth of a second) of
frozen video. To eliminate the frozen frames, all sources as well as Indigo and Acappella will need to be referenced
and timed to the same Black Burst analog reference. The Indigo reference output can be used as the reference

source.

Options and Licensing
Any Indigo AV Mixer may be upgraded to add the expansion. While the Indigo HD expansion is based on the

Acappella router, the expansion is not a retrofit for existing Acappella units. No special software or licenses are
required in addition to the purchase of the expansion hardware.

To purchase the Indigo HD expansion, use the part numbers below. Connecting standard Acappella units will not

provide a synchronized switch with Indigo.
