Turning on IP3072 Phone
1. When IP3072 phone is powered on, the telnet window will show the BCM1104
running status. Before the count down number to “0”, press any key to stop the count
down, so that you can enter commands on BCM1104 through the console cable.
2. Enter “?”, then press enter key to show all commands of BCM1104. (This step just
shows you all commands of BCM1104. It’s not necessary step for upgrade.)
Changing the Boot Parameters
1. Enter “bootget” to get boot parameters. Then, you need to,
 Make sure the IP address of inet on Ethernet (e) is
not the same as the IP
address of PC/Notebook that the console cable is connecting with. But their
submask must be the same.
 Change the host inet (h) to the same as the IP address of PC/Notebook that
the console cable is connecting with.
 Make sure the IP address of gateway inet (g) is
the same as the IP address
of PC/Notebook that the console cable is connecting with.
2. For example, you need to use the command “bootset” to set the parameters.
 Change the IP address and its submask of inet on Ethernet from
192.168.5.152:ffffff00 to 192.168.5.100:fffffe00.
 Change the IP address of host inet (h) from 192.168.5.150 to 192.168.5.211.
 Change the IP address of gateway inet (h) from 192.168.5.1 to 192.168.5.7.
