Types of bolts
To attach the valve use bolts of the following types:
• HEX M8 ISO 4014/4017
• HEX 5/16” ANSI B18.2
With coupling greater than 1” ½:
• HEX M8 ISO 4014/4017 + M8 ISO 7089 washer
• M8 screws with neck, ISO 4162 type
• HEX 5/16” ANSI B18.2

Drilling template
Refer to Tab. 1 for the position of the drilling points for the attachment bolts.
5.4
Hydraulic connections
Remove the protective caps and connect the inlet/outlet hoses to the valve, using the correct
connections for which it is set. Where required, pay attention to correctly insert the O-ring supplied
(threaded couplings). If the threads are leaking for any reason, it is possible to strengthen the seal
using only non-sintered PTFE tape.
CAUTION: For the maximum operating pressure for the chosen connection, refer to
Tab. 1.
Once all the couplings of the valve are connected, put the system under pressure ONLY WITH
CLEAN WATER first to make sure that the connections are not leaking.
5.5
Electrical connections
The valve must be powered by means of the connector fixed to the geared motor.
To connect the valve, use connectors code ECS0015 and cables of suitable cross-section, or
complete cables (code 4652900.140).
- Remove the protective cap (
1 in Fig. 2) from the valve.
- Position the gasket (
2) fitting it on the connector (3), then connect the connector by pressing it
down completely (
4). Be careful not to bend the electrical contacts on the valve while inserting it.
- Screw in the screw (
5) until thoroughly tightened.
CAUTION: If the gasket is not positioned correctly, there may be infiltrations of water
in the connector and in the valve, with the consequent risk of damage to the device.
The power cable must be connected as shown in the diagrams (Fig. 3) according to
whether the valve is two-pole (
A) or three-pole (B).
DO NOT CONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY USING DIRECT FASTON CONNECTORS.
