Trimming the élan ear-set
There are three steps to trimming the élan ear-set:
1. Cut off the first retention grip.
To fit a Custom élan ear-piece, there should only re-
main one retention grip on the ear-set. Therefore, re-
move the first retention grip with a pair of sharp scis-
sors, cutting nippers or other suitable tool. Be sure to
remove the first retention grip completely and leave
the second retention grip as it is. The second retention
grip will function as a coupling between the élan ear-
set and the ear-piece.
