Trimming the élan ear-set
Before you can use the élan ear-set with Flash élan
(Custom), it must be trimmed in three places. This trim-
ming can be complicated if you do not have the neces-
sary experience or the correct tool. Therefore, we rec-
ommend that you and your hearing care professional
go through the following instructions together.
There are several élan ear-set ver-
sions. Before you start trimming
the ear-set, it is important to make
sure that you use the correct ver-
sion. Check that the card inside the
élan ear-set box has “CAMISHA
compatible” printed on it. These
CAMISHA* compatible ear-sets
have two retention grips located
on the coupling at the end of the
tubing. If your élan ear-set does not
have two retention grips, it cannot
be used.
