Replacing RS-485 Driver Chips
You must fi rst disconnect the 24VAC power and then disconnect the three-wire RS-485 communications loop connections before you can
attempt to remove or replace a RS-485 communications driver chip. Failure to do so may result in a damaged driver chip and/or damaged
circuit board(s).
