MP3 Playback Order
MP3 files on a CD or a USB flash drive can be stored in folders in the
same way that files are managed on a computer. Moreover, multiple
folders can be contained inside another folder.
Here is an example of the file and folder structure of an MP3
disc or a USB flash drive, showing the order of the folders
(001 “ROOT” to 005) and the playback order of the files
(

to
9
).

MP3/WMA files
Unknown characters are displayed on the display.
e This unit cannot display double-byte symbols and characters
(such as Japanese and Chinese) correctly. MP3 file names must
only be alphanumeric characters to be shown properly.
MP3 files
“Title No” (title information unavailable), “Artist No” (artist
information unavailable) or “Album No” (album information
unavailable) appears on the display.
e ID3 tag information for the music file is missing. Edit the title, art-
ist and/or album information of the song on a PC using a suitable
application.
Since this device uses a microcontroller, external noise and
other interference can cause the unit to malfunction. If this
occurs, turn the power off and, after waiting for about one
minute, restart operation.
