additional seconds the mode will automati-
cally change (“toggle”). For example, if the
–18 LED indicates that operating mode 1
is the current configuration, continuing to
hold the Auto Null button will cause the
configuration to change to operating mode
2. It should be very clear that a change
has occurred as the lit LED will change
from –18 to –12. After the change has oc-
curred, releasing the button will cause the
revised configuration to be saved and the
Model 5132 will begin operation under the
selected mode. When described in words
this procedure seems fairly technical. But a
couple of practice sessions will show how
simple it actually is.
