4.1.6 Recording parameters [REC SETUP]
All recordings parameters are settled in the [REC SETUP] menu; press several times on a key to scroll the
parameters and then confirm by pressing on the check key
Select bit depth:
24 – 16 – 16 dithering

[SAMPLING UP/DOWN] the nominal value of the sampling frequency can pulled Up or Down by 0,1% for the
NTSC world; in which case the symbol "+0.1%" or "-0.1%" is posted beside the sampling frequency in the
main screen.
[POLYPHONIC] all active tracks are recorded in a single file. This mode requires to enable the MIRRORING
regardless of whether the Compact Flash card is present or not.
Set the pre-record time:
None, 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20 sec.

[MIXING LEVEL] applies an attenuation factor when using the matrix to sum multiple input channels onto the
same track to avoid a digital clipping; the choice depends on the phase coincidence of the sources.

mainly used if the sources have no phase coincidence
• ATT3
recommanded for phase coincident sources such as stereo or M/S microphone
• ATT6
only used if the sources are absolutely in phase
