Introduction
OPERATION
STARTING ENGINE
Before operating this machine, become familiar with all controls and
functions of these units. Also complete all maintenance require-
ments and read all safety warnings. By knowing the machine thor-
oughly, how it operates and by doing the prescribed maintenance
steps, you can expect relatively trouble-free operation for years to
come.
1. Make sure the fuel flow valve, located on the fuel tank, is open.
2. Set park brake.
3. The ignition switch is located on the dashboard. Insert key (A)
and turn clockwise until engine starts (C). Release key and it
will return to run position (B). Use choke as necessary.
4. Allow engine to idle and warm up a few minutes before select-
ing a direction of travel.
PARKING BRAKE
The park brake is beside the drivers seat. This brake should be set at all times when the unit is not in operation.
To set, push the handle forward. To release the park brake, pull the handle back. Major adjustments should be
made by working with the yokes on each end of the brake cable.
STEERING
It is important to familiarize yourself with the steering of the Sport Truck. The steering is power assisted by a
pump located on the steering column. This feeds a hydraulic cylinder which steers the wheels. It will only go as
far as the stop allows.
HEADLIGHTS (OPTIONAL)
The Sport Truck is wired for 2 headlights to be mounted on
the Roll bar.
FOOT PEDALS
The accelerator pedal (D) is the furthest to the right. This
pedal controls ground speed. Press pedal to increase
engine RPM, varying the amount of movement of the
pedal will vary the ground speed.
The brake (E) is the second pedal on the right. Operates
the hydraulic brakes on rear wheels.
