Thank you for choosing Silva Cross Trail II headlamp. This headlamp

can, thanks to the modular design, also be used on a helmet or on a

bike handle bar.

The Cross Trail II headlamp is equipped with Intelligent Light

®

which is a light distribution technology that combines a wide angle

flood light with a long reach spot light. This unique light image gives

the user peripheral and long distance vision at the same time. For a

runner, cross country skier, mountain biker or night orienteer this

translates into less head movement, increased control, better bal-

ance and more speed.

The Cross Trail II headlamp consists of the following parts:

• Headlamp body

• Headband

• Battery belt

• Helmet bracket with adhesive strip

• Bike bracket

• Extension cable

• Battery case with attachment strap

teMP control

The headlamp temperature will increase during use. The headlamp

temperature is mainly depending on light mode, ambient tempera-

ture and the airflow (speed). The Cross Trail II headlamp is equipped

with a temperature control function which prevents the headlamp

body from overheating by reducing the power to the LEDs. This

means that the lower the ambient temperature, the stronger the

light output.

note: always make sure that the batteries are disconnected when

the headlamp is stored in a closed compartment such as a bag,

pocket or similar.

Battery indication

6

When the headlamp is turned off a small LED is turned on inside the

front of the headlamp to indicate the status of the batteries. The bat-

tery status indication LED will be on for 5 seconds after power off.

Green light – Battery in good condition (more than 70% remaining)

Orange – Medium (30%-70% remaining)
