Short time measurement
The turning ring is well visible
under the crystal, which provides
optimal protection for it. It has
luminous points for better visibili-
ty in the dark and is operated by
crown 1.
Procedure: turn crown 1 anti-
clockwise. When the crown is
unlocked, turn it to move the
luminous point (F) on the turning
ring to the position of the minute
hand. Then relock the crown by
simultaneously pushing and tur-
ning clockwise. Elapsed time can
be read off from the minutes scale
on the turning ring. Important
To guarantee optimal water-resis-
tance, please observe the follow-
ing: push crowns 1 and 2 comple-
tely in after every manipulation.
In addition, crown 1 must be
relocked by turning clockwise.
Taking care of the watch
The robust construction and the
protection systems of the watch
guarantee maximum reliability. To
ensure water-resistance, we recom-
mend that the watch is checked
once a year by your Rado retailer.
Clean the watch regularly with
lukewarm soapy water. This clean-
ing is especially recommended
after contact with sea water.
