Warranty
Pertec h warrants all of its transaction printers against defects in material and workmanship for a per iod
of 24 months from date of shipment by Pertech or the rated maximum number of tr ansactions f or the
specific produc t – whichever comes frst. Kiosk printers, mechanisms and distr ibuted produc ts carry warr anties
specific to their application or manufac turers’ warranty. Contact
the specific pr oduct warranty.
Pertec h does not c onsider damage c aused by replacement ribbons or replac ement parts supplied by
parties other than Pertech to be a def ect in material or wor kmanship. This is a limited war ranty, limited
exclusively to its terms, including the exclusive remedies set forth below. In addition, this warranty is void if the
product has been altered, misused, taken apart or otherwise abused. All other warranties, expressed or implied are
excluded, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and ftness for particular purpose.
Any warranty claims must be supported by proof of purchase, represented by reference to the customers’ purchase
order.
Buyer’s Remedies
Pertech' s obligations and liabilities under the f or egoing warranty are limited to repair or r eplac ement of the
product without charge, provided it is shipped prepaid to Pertech, 860 College View Drive, Riverton, WY 82501-2298.
A charge is made for repairs after the expiration of the warranty period. In addition, if a printer is returned and
replacement ribbons or other replacement parts not supplied by Pertech have caused the printer damage, a
reasonable charge for repair will be assessed. Printers returned under warranty discovered to be a "no fault found" will
be charged the standard repair cost plus return freight. In no event shall Pertech be liable for claims based upon
breach of expressed or implied waranty or negligence or any other damages whether direct, immediate, foreseeable,
consequential or special or for any expenses occured by reason of the use or misuse, sale or fabrication of products
which do not conform to the terms and conditions of this contract.
