Notes:
• Shuffle and Repeat are valid in music mode only.
• After you adjust brightness, press
§ to confirm the setting and exit.
Music Mode
In music mode, select a folder to play: Play all, Songs (Artists, Albums, Genres, Playlists),
Favorite songs.
• Press  or  to go to the previous or next track; press and hold  or  to rewind or
fast forward a track.
• During playback or pause, press MENU to go to the previous menu level, press and
hold MENU to directly go to the main menu. After several seconds, the Now playing
display resumes.
• During playback, press to add a track to Favorite songs; when a track in Favorite
songs is playing, press to remove that track from Favorite songs.
• Go to (Settings)  Play mode to set Repeat and Shuffle.

Note: You can access music under Playlists only when you have transferred a playlist to
your player using the Sync function of Windows Media Player.
Picture Mode
Options in picture mode are Slide show, All pictures, Favorite pictures, and single
pictures. You can view pictures while enjoying music and radio.
• Select Slide show to shows all the pictures in the player nonstop.
• Select All pictures to view all the pictures in the player in thumbnail; press  or  to
select a picture. Press § to view a picture in full screen; press § again to view the
pictures in the current folder in slide show; press § a third time to pause slide show.
• To add a picture to Favorite pictures, press while the picture is shown in full screen.
• While a picture in Favorite pictures is shown in full screen, press to remove that
picture from Favorite pictures.

Note: Go to (Settings)  Slideshow settings to change the slide show interval.
Video Mode
Convert video clips through Media Converter before playing them on your player. See
“Converting Video Clips Using Media Converter” on page 10.
Select a video clip and press
§ to play.
During playback:
• Press § once to show the video clip’s title and progress bar, press again to pause.
• Press MENU to stop playback and return to the previous menu level; press and hold
MENU to return to the main menu.
• Press  or  to skip to the previous or next video clip.
• Press and hold  or  to rewind or fast forward a video clip.
