Setup
1 Charge your player
Open the USB jack cover, then connect the
supplied USB cable to your player and to your
computer. Your player appears as Audio Player
under “My Computer”.
You must charge your player for at least four hours
before using it for the first time. Normally it takes
about four hours to fully charge the player.

Notes:
• Only charge the player using the supplied USB cable.
• If the player is connected to the computer via a hub, the hub must be self-powered to
charge your player.
• When the player is connected to the computer, all buttons are disabled.
2 Upload files to your player
• For audio files: Use Windows Media ® Player or the included Rhapsody software (see
“Transferring Files to the Player Using Rhapsody” on page 11).
