Resetting the Player

If the player malfunctions or stops working, use a pointed object (such as a

toothpick) to press the RESET button.
The player will turn off. Turn the player on again.

Note: Resetting the player restores factory settings, but will

not affect data stored on the player.

Formatting the Player

Format your player if it does not work even after you have reset it.
To format your player:
Connect the player to a computer, right-click Internal Storage under Audio
Player
and select Format.

Caution: Formatting your player removes all data stored on the player.

Solution

The player cannot be

turned on.

• Battery power is too low. Charge your player (p 5).
• Reset your player and try turning it on again (p 18).

The player does not

charge when connected

to a computer.

• Make sure the USB connection is correct (p 5).

No sound is heard from

the earbuds or speaker.

• Make sure the earbuds are firmly inserted and the volume

control is not set too low.

• Make sure the earbud plug is clean.
• Make sure the files are not damaged.

No response to player

buttons.

• The hold switch (

_

) may be on. Slide opposite of the arrow

direction.

• Reset the player (p 18).

The computer does not

locate the player.

• Disconnect the USB cable and connect again firmly.
• Try other USB ports.
• Make sure your computer meets the minimum

requirements (p.4).
