name the Device
After adding your
devices, you can give
a name to each of your
Monster Central
® plugs
by selecting the plug
you wish to name from
your device list.
Click on the Edit
button to enter a
name for your Monster
Central
® device.
From the device screen
select the right arrow
( > ) symbol by Name.
Power Monster Central ®
Device on or off
To send a command
to turn your Monster
Central
® device on or
off, click on the device
from the Plugs screen.
Enter the name for
the device and click
on the Save button.
If you wish to label the
sockets individually on
the Monster Central
®
300MC model, click on
the Edit button and
then the respective
sockets you wish
to name.*
From the Monster
Central
® device’s
control screen click
on the On/Off button
to turn it on or off.
* Applies to three plug Monster Central ® 300MC
model only
Monitoring your
energy Consumption
To monitor your energy consumption you can
use one of the different several options to view
your data.
Note: A three socket device will monitor all
three sockets. Only the control socket will not
be monitored when it is in the Off position. The
two Monitor sockets will always measure load.
To view your current
usage, you can do so
at a quick glance from
your Plugs list.
You can also view more
details by clicking
on a device from the
Plugs list. From the
device screen you can
click on the Now icon
at the bottom. This
view can present your
consumption either
in dollars or kWh/watts
(to change the unit
value please reference
the Settings section of the user guide).
If your Monster
Central
® application
is set to display dollars,
clicking on the dial
will change it to show
values in watts.
Select the Scan
QR Code or Enter
S/N option to add
your device.
If you select to scan
then please point your
smartphone’s camera
to the QR code on the
back of the Monster
Central
® device. If your
phone doesn’t have
a QR scanner, select
Enter PIN and type in
the pin number on the
back of the module.
