Installing the Software and Configuring Internet Access
Before installing the software, you must ensure that any existing ISDN instal-
lation on your PC is deactivated or uninstalled. No other CAPI drivers must be
installed, because this could result in conflicts between the various CAPI
drivers.If you want to connect more than one PC to your Eumex 704PC LAN
after installing the software on the first PC, you must run the "Expressinstalla-
tion" (quick installation) on every additional PC.
1. Before you install the Eumex 704PC LAN, boot your PC and start Windows. Keep
your Windows operating system CD handy, as it may be required during the
installation procedure.
In order to configure your Internet access, you also require the access data
obtained from your service provider.
2. If your PC is connected to the Eumex 704PC LAN via the USB cable supplied, it
will be found automatically. This does not apply to connections via the Ethernet
port.
3. Insert the Eumex 704PC LAN CD-ROM in the drive of your PC. The operating sys-
tem will automatically find and install the necessary driver.
Click on the "Next" button and follow the instructions of the hardware wizard.
