Introduction
Gigabit Fiber to Gigabit Fiber (100/1000) Media Converter is a cost-
effective solution for converting 1000Base-FX to 100/1000Base-FX
cabling. It is a standalone converter unit, which allows your network
connectivity to be more flexible.
Gigabit Fiber to Gigabit Fiber (100/1000) Media Converter will allow you to
extend the cabling distance by different transceiver type and its available
connection. The Gigabit Fiber Converter provides you with one SFP
(Mini-GBIC) port for your 1000BaseFX fiber optic cable and one SFP
(Mini-GBIC) port for your 100/1000Base-FX fiber optic cable connection.
There are 3 DIP —switches to set the operation mode for Fiber ports and
link loss forwarding function.
