USB memory device
• The unit supports the FAT 16 and FAT 32 file system. It does not
support the NTFS file system.
• The limit of folders and files that can be displayed on the unit is as
shown below. (The limit shown includes the root folder.)

• If there are too many characters to be displayed on one line, the
display becomes scrollable.
• File names/title names/artist names/album names are displayed on
the Media player display screen.
• The unit supports high-speed USB file transfer (conforming to USB
2.0).
• AVCHD content stored on the USB memory device connected to the
unit can also be played.
• USB memory devices of up to 2 TB are recognized.
NOTE
• Insert and remove a USB memory device with the power set to
standby. If it is inserted or removed with the power on, the recorded
files cannot be loaded or may be damaged.
• It is not compatible with an MP3 player, digital camera, a USB device
for a mobile phone, etc.
• The unit cannot charge a USB device.
• The unit does not support a card reader, USB extension cable, or
USB hub.
n About DivX® Video-on-Demand (VOD)
• When you purchase or rent a DivX® file through the official site of
DivX® Video-On-Demand (VOD) services, the unit registration code
is required. For details, see “DivX Registration” (
• A DivX® VOD file recorded with a different code from the unit
registration code cannot be played back.
• Some DivX® VOD files are restricted to a certain number of
playable times. If your DivX® VOD file has such a limit, the number
of playable times is displayed on the DivX® VOD display screen.
• Use

to select “Yes” if you want to play a file, or to select
“No” if you do not want to play it. Then, press
ENTER
to confirm
the selection.

numbers, called title numbers and chapter numbers.
