Assembling the handlebar (Fig. 2)
Having carefully read this manual, you can start preparing
your machine.
1. Open top of the carton.
2. Remove the components.
3. Insert the upper handlebar in the lower one, blocking it
with its pins and wing nuts.
4. Fix the cables with the clamps provided.
Assembling the working height adjustment system (Fig. 3)
To mount the working height adjustment system, proceed as
follows:
1. Screw the upper adjustment rod into the lower one on the
machine.
2. Turn the rod to screw it in.
3. Insert the support in the upper handlebar.
4. Block it with the nut.
Assembling the grassbag (Fig. 4)
1. Insert the lower part of the bag around the discharge tun-
nel.
2. Use the strap to fix the bag to it.
3. Tighten the strap and close the buckle.
4. Insert the bag in the upper part of the handlebar.
5. Hook the bag to the handlebar using the fasteners.
6. Unzip the bag to dump the contents (Fig. 5).
Disassembly of the grassbag
1. Open the b uckle and loosen the strap.
2. Disassemble the lower part of the bag from the discharge
tunnel.
3. Disassemble the bag from the upper part of the handlea-
br and unhook it.
ASSEMBLY
BEFORE OPERATING
Filling the crankcase with oil (Fig. 1)
The engine is supplied wothout oil in the crankcase.
Therefore, before starting the engine:
1. Place the machine on a flat surface.
2. Pull the dipstick out, unscrewing cap 1/4 turn anti-
clockwise.
3. Slowly pour about 0,60 l of SAE 30 (SE,SF, SG) oil in
the sump.
4. Let the oil settle for a couple of minutes.
5.Replace the cap.
Filling the fuel tank (Fig. 1)
1. Clean around the tank cap.
2. Take the cap off and fill the tank up to about 15 mm from
the top with clean petrol.
3. Replace cap and clean any spillage.
Drainage of the fuel tank
1. Stop the engine and disconnect the high tension wire from
spark plug.
2. Unscrew the fuel tank cap.
3. Using a siphon, pump the petrol from the tank into a sui-
table container.

ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM KIT IB-2710
A hose kit is available for use in area the machine cannot
reach. Follow these instructionsfor correct assembly and use.
1. Remove the cap front of the machine.
2. Insert the hose in the hole and use the knob to block it in place.
3. Mount the sealing plate on the machine body (Fig. 15).
4. Put the throttle lever in the position and start using
the hose to suck the material up (Fig. 16).
