6. Preparation
6.1 Installation

Place the unit in an upright position, keeping at
least 20 cm of open space before the front and rear
venting grids.

To ensure maximum cooling performance of the
compressor, wait about one hour after transporting
and setting up before operating. This will allow any oil
that has accumulated laterally during transport to flow
back down in the motor.
6.2 Filling

Use only recommended bath fluids:
Temperature range Recommended bath fluid
+5 to +90 °C Deionized water
+30 to +50 °C 1:1 Mixture of water and
ethylene glycol
Note: Do not use a mixture of more than 40% alcohol for the bath fluid.

Fill the internal bath no higher than 30 mm below
the tank rim.

To prevent excessive liquid loss due to evaporation
keep the cover over filled bath except as necessary
to immerse samples.

unit near heat sources and
do not expose to sunlight.
