Charging deep-
discharge batte-
ries In the case of deep-discharge batteries (voltage < 2 V), charging must be started manu-
ally as follows:
WARNING! Risk of serious damage as the result of

incorrectly connected charging terminals. The polarity reversal protection
facility is inoperative in „external power supply/reactivating deep-dischar-
ge batteries“ mode.

Connect charging terminals to correct poles and ensure proper electrical
connection to vehicle terminals. Note battery voltage.
CAUTION! Risk of damage when attempting to charge a faulty battery. Before
charging, ensure that the battery to be charged is fully functional.
1. Unplug machine from the mains
2. Select „Reactivating deep-discharge batteries“ mode (lower switch position)
3. Connect (+) charging terminal to positive pole (red) on battery
4. Connect (-) charging terminal to negative pole (black) on the battery, or to vehicle
body (e.g. engine block) in the case of vehicle power supplies.

Move selector switch to required voltage

Indicators flash alternately, battery is reacti-
vated
7. The battery is usually reactivated after 30 - 60 s, and can be charged in the relevant
mode
8. Depending on the charger type, move selector switch to O position or press STOP
button
10. Adjust the mode according to the battery type and charge the battery
9. Unplug machine from the mains
