When selecting the location, please observe the following criteria:

Install only on a solid and level surface; the housing must not warp
when it is fastened with the screws.

The ambient temperature may not fall below -25 °C nor exceed +55 °C.

Protection type IP 55 means that the Fronius String Control 250/25
DCD DF can be installed outside and be exposed to a certain amount
of moisture. However, we do recommend that direct wetting be avoi-
ded.

Protect from direct sunlight and direct exposure to the elements.

Install under the solar modules where possible.

Dowels and
Screws
Depending on the surface, different dowels and screws may be required
for installing the Fronius String Control 250/25 DCD DF. Therefore, these
dowels and screws are not part of the scope of supply for the Fronius
String Control 250/25 DCD DF. The installer is responsible for selecting
the proper dowels and screws.

The Fronius String Control 250/25 DCD DF can be installed in any positi-

downwards.
