Chapter 4
Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility
(For Windows XP)
The Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility is used for updating Windows
®
INF files so that
the Intel chipset can be recognized and configured properly in the system.
To install the utility, click “Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility” on the main menu.
1. Click “I accept the
agreement” then click Next.
Microsoft DirectX 9.0C (For Windows XP only)
To install the utility, click “Microsoft DirectX 9.0C Driver” on the main menu.
2. To start installation, click
Next.
3. Click Finish. Reboot the
system for DirectX to take
effect.
1. Setup is now ready to
install the utility. Click Next.
2. Read the license agreement
then click Yes.
