The following functions are not supported when the DN-

files.
• Index skip function is not available.
• While half-sample rate audio file, MPEG1-L2 (24kHz,
22.05kHz, 16kHz) and MPEG2-L3 (24kHz, 22.05kHz,
16kHz) are playable; signal to the digital outputs is not
available if the Digital FS is set to "Auto" mode in the
preset menu.
■ Handled audio files as “track” and playing
audio file
A directory (also called a “folder”) is a hierarchical level on
disc media or the network drive.
After loading a data disc and searching all audio files, the
DN-C640 assigns each audio file a track number.
Only the files within the selected directory will be the
target of your operations, and functions such as program
playback and repeat playback will all occur within the same
directory.
For example in the illustration below, at first each audio
file is assigned a track number. Directory-AAA, directory-
BBB and directory-DDD contain audio files and can be
selected for operations, but directory-CCC is excluded from
operations.
If directory-AAA is selected, CD operations such as program
playback are effective only to audio files of directory-AAA,
it means aaa001.mp3/track# 003 and bbb001.mp3/track#
004 are effective for operation.
BBB (Dir03)
CCC
aaa001.mp3 (Track# 003)
DDD (Dir04)
ddd001.mp2 (Track# 005)
rrr001.mp3 (Track# 001)
