SQUARE CUTS
E. Depress Clutch Button (R) and move BEAM BUG III over web.
Swing torch vertical and position tip over cut in web, switch on
gases using the
Quick Acting Manifold (S) and relight torch. When
preheat is adequate open
Cutting Oxygen Valve (FF) [bat handle on
torch] and start travel in cut direction. Adjust speed to optimum. Stop
horizontal travel as close to flange as possible, and turn off gases
using
Quick Acting Manifold (S) and Cutting Oxygen Valve (FF).
F. Swing torch to horizontal position (tip facing flange). Move BEAM
BUG III out beyond edge of flange and repeat Steps 2, 3 & 4.
8. We recommend the first flange cut to be on the magnet side of BEAM
RAIL.
