Observe the type of connector you have and connect the
optical connector by following the instructions and
guidelines provided in Table 1.

Make the following connections between the 1700 units.
Connect the near-end 1700-T (transmitter) unit’s optical TX
port to the far-end 1700-R (receiver) unit’s optical RX port
with an optical fiber.
