10. Disposal
The rechargeable NiMH battery is a valuable
resource and must be disposed of separately.
Removing the battery before disposal
> Switch the device off using the On/Off switch
The green LED must not light up
> Remove the screw on the base of the device
> Remove the base
> Withdraw the ultrasound head with battery
holder from the housing
> Withdraw the battery plug from the circuit board
> Remove the NiMH battery and dispose of it
separately
Observe the local regulations for
material disposal. Dispose of the unit in
accordance with EC Directive 2002/96/
EC – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment).

authorities responsible for waste disposal.
