X Place your finger on the corrugated
surface of the cover.
X Carefully slide the cover away from
the antenna until the stop is reached
(around 10 mm).
X Lift the cover out of the housing.
,QVHUWLQJ EDWWHULHV
X The batteries must be inserted as fol-
lows:
the lower battery with "+" facing out-
wards and the upper battery with "+"
facing inwards.
X Slide the batteries against the contact
spring force in the unit and into
the slide-in compartment so that
they make contact with the individual
contacts.

X Place the sliding cover back on the
housing so that the slide-in compart-
ment remains around 10 mm open.
X Place your finger on the corrugated
surface of the cover and slide towards
the antenna until it snaps in.

Connections to the general mains net-
work are made as follows using the
mains section supplied for the socket.
X Grip the phone jack in its corrugated
grip area and slide this into the con-
nection socket without exerting too
much force until the stop is reached.
X Use the plug to insert the mains section
in the socket.

in reverse.
