On Screen Designer™ Embroidery Design Software
Make your mark on any project. Create original embroidery patterns directly on the LCD screen by
downloading this innovative software using it with your Baby Lock Ellegante.
On Screen Designer™ can be used with Ellegante Ver 1.14 or higher. Check that your sewing machine
model and version meet this requirement. The program version of your machine can be checked by
pressing the Settings Key on your LCD screen and going to page 3. If your Ellegante is not Version
1.14 or higher, please download the Version 1.14 Upgrade before using this program on your
Ellegante.
On Screen Designer™ enables you to create original embroidery patterns on the LCD screen of your
Ellegante version 1.14 or higher. Use the stylist (touch pen include with your machine) to draw images
and text on screen. Then paint the drawing with the desired colors as you would with paper and pen.
You can even write your signature on the screen, convert it to embroidery data and then embroider it.
Created patterns can be resized, combined with characters and images and freely arranged in the
Embroidery Edit function of your Ellegante.
Download/Getting Started
• Download the file for On Screen Designer™ to a USB Media Device such as a flash drive.
(Note: Keep this file available, you will need it each time you wish to utilize the program.)
• Turn on your Ellegante and select the Settings Key in the lower left hand corner of the LCD
Screen.
• Go to page 2. Where the Application Check icon is, touch the Key on the screen to the right to
turn on the Application Check.
• Turn your machine off.
• With the machine off, insert the Flash Drive or connect other USB Device to the USB Port of
your machine.
• Turn on the machine and touch the Opening Screen. Two Keys will appear. The top Key, when
selected, will start the On Screen Designer™ program. The bottom Key, when selected, will
start the machine as it normally would.
